Open Water Diver - Referral Course
The Open Water Referral Course is a pre-entry programme designed for those wha are planning a dive trip to Bali and wish to minimise their classroom time. The PADI e-Learning programme allows you to study the theory in the comfort of your own home. You may also have completed the pool training before your arrival in Bali.
What Will You Learn
If you have completed the PADI e-Learning Theory course, we can complete your five confined water sessions here in Bali in just half a day. Once you have completed the requisite training, you will be ready to proceed directly to the open sea, where the fun begins.
After completing the theory and confined water training, you’ll transition to the final four open water training fun dives, which will be conducted over two days, ensuring you’re fully prepared for the open sea.
Each day, you’ll have the chance to complete two dives at some of Bali’s most renowned locations, such as Padang Bai, and Tulamben, where you can explore the famous USAT Liberty shipwreck.
Upon certification, PADI Open Water Divers are given the internationally recognised license to dive with a buddy at depths of up to 18 metres.
Please note that the minimum age requirement for enrollment in a PADI Open Water Referral Course (or Junior Open water Referral course) is 10 years old.

Hotel pick-up times:
- Canggu/Ubud area 6:30 – 6:45 AM
- Uluwatu/Jimbaran area 6:45 – 7:00 AM
- Kuta/Nusa Dua/Seminyak/Kerobokan area 7:00 AM
- Sanur area 7:30 – 7:45 AM
Additional Charge to Kerobokan, Canggu, Uluwatu, Jimbaran and Ubud areas IDR 600.000 IDR.
Inclusions:
- Transfers to and from hotels (additional charge to Ubud, Canggu, Uluwatu, Jimbaran and Kerobokan area IDR 600.000)
- Lunch, snacks, fruit, coffee, tea, soft drinks, water
- Towel
- Parental Consent: As with any diving course involving minors, parental consent is required.
- We encourage using our water refill station and staying hydrated throughout the day.
- While not included, Reef Safe sunscreen lotion is available for purchase should you wish to have your own.
